Sprung understands that there may be circumstances where our participants need to cancel their program booking with us. This cancellation policy ensures we provide fair treatment for all our participants and best manage the organisational impact of cancellations.

1.    Term Program Cancellation

Cancellation by the participant:

  • Cancellation made more than 7 business days prior to the scheduled event date will receive a full refund/ will not be charged.

  • Cancellation made between 3 - 6 business days prior to the scheduled start date will be charged 50% of the total weekly fee.

  • Cancellation made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled start date, including not turning up on the day without notice, will be charged 100% of the total weekly fee.

  • Community and Ensemble Term base Program Artists are allocated 2 sick days per term. This must be given as written notice to Sprung Dance Theatre, failure to attend and communicate with Sprung past the allocated days will result in a charge for the week/s missed.

Cancellation by Sprung:

  • Sprung reserves the right to cancel any workshop booking due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control.

  • In the event of cancellation by Sprung, the organisation will not invoice for the workshop.

2.    Holiday and Community Program Cancellation (e.g Tintenbar, Art Shapers, Kingscliff Open Doors etc.)

  • Cancellations made a minimum of 3 business days prior to the program start date will receive a full refund/ will not be charged.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled start date, including not turning up on the day without notice, will be charged 100% of the total program enrolled fee.

  • We can appreciate that sometimes illness/ circumstances beyond control arise, within 48 hours of the program. If this happens, please contact Sprung directly via phone call at 0478 879 706 and in writing to info@sprung.org.au. These circumstances will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

3.     Changes to a program booking:

  • Any changes to the workshop booking must be made in writing and agreed to by both parties.

  • Changes made less than 7 days prior for Term Programs and 48 hours for additional programs to the scheduled date may be subject to additional charges.
